Liverpool why not.

Who says a weekend in Liverpool is not a holiday. We have just enjoyed a fabulous fun filled weekend in the beautiful city of Liverpool.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn opposite Lime Street Station, literally a 4 minute walk. Check in was simple and efficient. we were well looked after by Debbie one of the most customer focused receptionists I have had the pleasure to meet. The whole Holiday Inn experience was a pleasure, we stayed for two nights with breakfast. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was served buffet, as much as you could eat. Good choice of hotel.

On Friday night we had a table booked at Bistro Pierre, I had dined here before a couple of years ago, they say don’t return to somewhere you really enjoyed before, well in this case I will return as often as possible. The meal, wine, ambience and service were all brilliant and memorable, don’t miss this restaurant a great choice.

We also had tickets booked for the Liverpool City & Beatles Tour. Thank you Liverpool you’ve done it again. An open top bus tour with excellent commentary from our guide, they say all scoucer’s are comedians in our guide this was certainly the case. Incidentally this seemed really good value for money.

Go on spoil yourself, enjoy Liverpool and let me know what you think of Bistro Pierre.
